James "Jim" Temple

Jim Temple has had five different careers in his professional life of over 40 years: financial analyst, newspaper operations manager, bank analyst, manager and executive, accounting systems designer and management consultant.  But that only prepared him for his real journey of personal growth and discovery made possible when he began his journey of recovery.  Finally facing up to a failing marriage, personal addiction issues and a renegade teenager at home, Jim began working 12-step recovery programs and facing the issues that he had avoided for much of his life.  The work was harder, and more rewarding, than anything he had encountered professionally.

While life cannot be described as “perfect”, this journey resulted in a degree of happiness and serenity impossible in the “driven-ness” that had defined him before these efforts.  Renewed relationships with wife, daughter and family, and a renewed gratitude for the opportunity to be of service to others, is a testament to the notion that the promises of these programs do come true, “sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly.”

"PHusion is about transformation, individuals working thru the process of moving from dead ends to open horizons.  PHusion is the possibility of each of us claiming the promises of our lives by becoming more completely who we are, discovering and nurturing this by finding the allies and tools that allow us to reach our full potential.  PHusion lets me meet and work with people like me who are on a journey of discovery and growth – a journey of transformation."
